Friends, Affiliates, and Notifications
Choose the right feature for connecting with attendees, sharing referrals, or reading updates.

Use this guide to decide which community feature fits your task. Friends, affiliate rewards, and notifications work independently, so completing one does not automatically complete another.
Before you start
Sign in using your own attendee account. Have your friend’s username, event name, or the record you are checking ready, depending on the task.
Choose and complete your task
1. Match the task to a feature
| You need to… | Use… | Detailed guide |
|---|---|---|
| Find someone, accept a request, or control discovery | Friends | Friends and connected accounts |
| Remove or block a connection | Friends and its Blocked tab | Friends and connected accounts |
| Link Discord or Telegram | Friends → Settings → Connected accounts | Friends and connected accounts |
| Share an assigned event link or review rewards | Affiliate Rewards | Affiliate rewards |
| Read updates, filter unread, or load older messages | Notifications | Notifications |
2. Open the matching page
Go to Friends, Affiliate Rewards, or Notifications. Wait for the account’s current information to load.
If Friends is disabled, enable it and review privacy choices. If rewards are empty, check whether the organizer assigned your account an affiliate profile. If looking for an older message, select All and load more when offered.
3. Follow the detailed guide
Use the matching guide above for the exact clicks, choices, and save behavior. Check the correct person or event before taking action.
For example, to invite a friend, search their username and send a request. To share a referral, copy the generated affiliate link for the correct event. To respond to an event update, read the notification and open its related record.
4. Verify the outcome
A friend request waits for acceptance. An affiliate reward depends on eligible activity and campaign rules. Marking a notification read only changes its inbox state. Check the confirmation for the action you took and any next step shown.
Keep account settings separate
Use Communication settings for email categories and SMS preferences. These do not mark inbox messages read.
Use Account & security for the optional Furries PH Social account link. That process is separate from Discord or Telegram links in Friends.
Common problems and next steps
- Friend not searchable: confirm their username and discovery choice; search needs at least two characters.
- No affiliate record: contact the organizer about assignment; the rewards page does not offer self-enrollment.
- Message read but task unfinished: open the event, transaction, or application and complete the stated action.
- Linked provider but event still requests permission: follow that event’s separate community-join requirement.
For an event place, supported gift, or shared registration, follow the event’s own process. A community connection does not grant entry or access to another person’s account.
