What your pass is for
An event pass helps authorized staff find your confirmed registration at check-in. Its QR code is a scannable version of that pass. Google Wallet can keep a usable pass in the wallet app when the event supports it.
Before you start
Sign in to your account and check that the relevant registration is confirmed. Prepare before traveling while connectivity is reliable. Read the event’s arrival and identification requirements, and keep your device charged.
Step 1: Open your event pass
Open Transactions and the correct Event Rego or Dealers Den Rego. Its pass can show a reference and QR after confirmation. Canceled or refunded records can lose QR and wallet access.
Check the event name and latest status before continuing. A submitted or unconfirmed record may not have a usable pass yet; follow its next action first.
Step 2: Show the QR when staff need it
The QR starts blurred for privacy. Choose Show QR code when authorized staff are ready to scan it, keep it visible for the scan, and choose Blur QR code afterward. A copied QR can be used at check-in, so keep it private. If QR preparation fails, use the displayed reference and ask staff for help.
Step 3: Check Google Wallet availability
The organizer needs to enable and complete Google Wallet setup before you can use it. Read the notice beside your pass to see whether it is available.
If no usable wallet option appears, prepare the QR and reference instead. Your own registration still needs to be confirmed.
Step 4: Save the pass in Google Wallet
When available, use the wallet action and wait for preparation. Choose Open Google Wallet, then follow Google’s prompts to save it to your intended wallet account. Check the saved pass is for the right event. Opening the provider page alone does not prove the pass was added; complete its prompts.
The current attendee option is Google Wallet. Use the QR and reference when the wallet option is unavailable.
Keep codes separate
| Record | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Confirmed rego or dealer pass | Check-in for that record. |
| Shop claim QR | Pickup or release of its separate order. |
| Pawsport credential and enrollment code | Staff-issued credential ownership and permitted event use. |
| Application submission | Organizer review; it is not an event-pass QR. |
Do not post QR images, private transaction links, enrollment codes, or pass details publicly. Prepare the right pass before joining a queue. Read shop claims and Pawsports for those tasks.
Common problems and next steps
- QR is blurred: use Show QR code when it is safe to display.
- Wallet is unavailable: check confirmation and the setup notice, then use the QR/reference fallback.
- Google’s page opens but the pass is missing: finish its prompts and check the wallet account you selected.
- Details look old: retry the latest transaction check before relying on them.
Follow Check-in and inclusions for entry and item collection.
