What an application does
An application sends information to organizers for review. An activity submission proposes participation in the event’s program. A Vollie application is a volunteer application for an offered role. Neither submission guarantees acceptance or completes any separate entry registration.
Use Dealers Den for seller-table applications, which have their own fees, assistant invitations, and review actions.
Before you start
Open the event and read the relevant application description, deadline, eligibility, and requirements. Prepare the answers, links, images, fursona details, or signatures the form asks for. Use your own account where sign-in is required.
Activity step 1: Open the specific event form
Choose the activity action on the event page. Events can offer specific forms, so use the actual button for the activity you want. Read its description and submission window before starting.
Activity step 2: Complete the questions
Answer required questions and check for follow-up questions that appear after a choice. Use the requested usernames, images, saved fursona, or signature where asked. A fursona is your furry character; choose the intended saved character rather than an unrelated one.
For example, a performance description should explain the activity you want reviewed, while a requested image should match that proposal. Follow the organizer’s wording and limits rather than this example when they differ.
Activity step 3: Read conditions and submit
Open the documents shown and complete each required acceptance. If organizer-specific documents are not configured, read the platform Terms and Privacy Policy offered instead.
Review the answers and attachments, then use the form’s submit action once. Wait for Submission sent. This means the organizers received it, not that you have an accepted program slot.
Volunteer step 1: Choose a position
Open the event’s volunteer action and read the positions available. Choose the role you want to apply for and check its description, dates, expectations, and any stated eligibility or subsidy information.
Subsidy means event support toward an eligible cost; seeing a role does not guarantee a discount or payment. Requirements depend on the event.
Volunteer step 2: Complete and review the application
Answer the position’s questions, including any required or conditional fields. Read conditions, review your answers and selected role, then submit once and wait for the result.
Do not treat submitting as accepting a shift. Organizers review applications first, and published work assignments are a later step.
After submitting: find your application
Open Applications. Use the type filter to choose Dealers Den, Vollie, or Activity, then find the correct event card. Choose Open application and read the status, dates, and organizer notes. Use Show more applications if the record is further down your history.
For volunteer applications, the event’s volunteer application page can show your submitted answers, position, department, review dates, notes, and a returned roster. Pending review means a decision has not been completed. Acceptance and a published roster are separate.
Common problems and next steps
- One category appears before another: allow the others to load; retry a history error before assuming your application is missing.
- Details are unavailable: the original event link may no longer be published. Contact the organizer with the event and application type.
- A draft is visible but you cannot continue: use the current-form retry. Uploads or submission may pause until the latest form is checked. Review any changed questions before resuming.
- You want to edit or withdraw: use an offered action only. Not every application type has dealer-style edit and withdraw controls.
After volunteer acceptance, follow Staffing and volunteering for published shifts. Follow the organizer’s decision and any separate registration instructions for an accepted activity.
