Learn the words before choosing
Rego is short for registration. A tier is a package you choose for the event. Inclusions are things supplied with that package, such as items or benefits. Add-ons are extras you choose separately and may pay for separately within checkout.
For example, a tier could include an event badge, while an optional shirt is an add-on. Another tier might already include a shirt. Read the event’s package details so you do not assume every item works the same way.
Choose the option that matches your goal
| Option | What you do | What to check afterward |
|---|---|---|
| Rego | Complete your attendee form and payment when required. | Your Event Rego confirmation status in Transactions. |
| Add-on | Select an offered extra, including its size and questions. | Its price, quantity, availability, and saved selection. |
| Inclusion | Review items or benefits supplied with the tier. | The saved package details and collection instructions. |
| Prefill | Save editable choices before live registration. | The saving success notice, then return to finish live checkout. |
| Waitlist | Request an offered tier on a waiting list. | An offer and its deadline; accept and complete registration if offered. |
| Application | Send details for organizer review. | The decision and notes in Applications. |
| Gift | Buy a fixed package for a named receiver. | Payment confirmation and the receiver’s completed redemption. |
| Shop | Buy event items in a separate order. | Shop payment and pickup or delivery status. |
Understand the three milestones
Saved means you kept unfinished choices. A prefill costs nothing to save and reserves no capacity or stock. Some events offer account-specific prefill rewards, but a reward still does not create a confirmed place.
Submitted means you sent a form or order. A waitlist entry does not guarantee an offer, and an application does not guarantee a table or role. Payment or review can still be outstanding.
Confirmed means the relevant confirmation has completed for that record. Read its exact status: a confirmed merchandise order is still a shop order, not an attendee registration.
A temporary capacity hold during live checkout only gives you limited time to finish. Watch its countdown and submit before it expires.
Follow the right next guide
For your own entry, use Join an event. For early choices or waiting, use Prefills and waitlists. For reviewed roles and proposals, use Applications and activities. For merchandise, use Event Shop.
If you cannot find an option
Read the event’s current instructions. A button may be disabled, outside its window, full, or unavailable to your account. Choose the action currently offered. If the organizer says an option should be available but you cannot use it, contact support with the event and the message shown.
